Hey ADT!!! Here are some of the latest fun filled IC events going on around the area!!! All events are also open for the pledges to attend unless otherwise noted =) Omega Sigma (CSUF) Chartering Ceremony When: Saturday, April 25th @ 3pm (doors open at 2:30) Where: The Pub on campus (Park @ the TSU Parking Structure) Dress Code: Business Casual Note: The actual ceremony is only for ACTIVE MEMBERS of Alpha Phi Omega!!! Dinner afterwards is open to everyone however!!! Join Omega Sigma as they will finally receive their charter and become an official chapter of Alpha Phi Omega!!! Dinner is to follow after @ Asia Buffet in the City of Industry (18268 Gale Ave). Alpha Kappa (USC) IC Bonfire When: Sunday, April 26th @ 4pm Where: Dockweiler State Beach in Playa Del Rey (by LAX) Rho Rho (UCI) Bingo Night Fundraiser When: Tuesday, April 28th @ 7pm (after their GBM) Where: UCI @ BS 1200 Spend a fun-filled night with the brothers of Rho Rho with a game of bingo!!! The grand prize will be a Nintendo Wii with other prizes including Cheesecake Factory giftcards, gas gift cards, and so much more!!! Each bingo card will be $5 each and the amount you can buy will be unlimited!!! NOTE: IF YOU PLAN TO ATTEND THIS EVENT, YOU MUST LET ME KNOW AHEAD OF TIME!!! FINAL DEADLINE WILL BE MONDAY EVENING!!! Chi (UCLA) Poker Toruney When: Saturday, May 2nd @ 2pm Where: UCLA Sac Gym Note: Buy ins will be $12 - $15 - Scavenger Hunt When: May 3rd or May 25th (finalized date will be announced) Where: Third Street Promenade @ Santa Monica @ 12pm Note: $1 admission fee for the grand prize - Wacky Relay Race for Kids When: Sunday, May 17th @ 1pm Where: TBA Note: $5 donation to a non-profit organization This will be a relay competition! Chapters will sign up in groups of 6, or as large of groups as you guys can, then you guys will compete in different forms of relays (running, wheel barrel, obstacle course, etc) to see who is the best! The money for admission will all be donated toward a non-profit cause. Food WILL be provided. There will also be prizes for winners and most spirited teams, etc. Rho Pi (UCSD) Scavenger Hunt @ the SD Zoo and Old Spaghetti Factory Dinner When: Saturday, May 2nd @ 10:30am Where: SD Zoo + Old Spaghetti Factory in Downtown San Diego Note: $28.50 admission for SD Zoo and $18 - $23 for dinner Lambda Mu (CSULA) Spring Fling Dance When: Friday, May 15th @ 6pm Where: CSULA Campus @ Student Union Building (LA Room) Note: The theme is "Glow in the Dark." Admission is $10 pre-sale and $15 at the door. If you want to purchase tickets for pre-sale price, please let me know so that I can contact their IC chairs about it. ---- That's all that's going on so far. I'll keep everyone updated with the latest IC events going around. I'm also considering doing an IC Waterballoon fight event as part of the active requirement of attending one IC event hosted by ADT.
